For this travel magazine feature, I embraced the raw, nostalgic quality of 35mm film to capture the soul of a coastal destination. Shooting on film allowed me to emphasize the natural textures of the landscape, from the sunlit waves to the weathered architecture, giving the images a timeless, authentic feel. I worked closely with the editorial team to document both the scenic beauty and the daily lives of the locals, using film’s unique grain and color tones to create images that felt organic and immersive. The result was a series of candid, evocative photographs that brought a sense of genuine adventure and discovery to the magazine’s pages.
